The First Ten Steps Out Of Bed
Your heel takes the first step and something in it objects. Sharp, under the bone, right where it meets the floor.
Ten or fifteen steps and it eases. By the time you are downstairs you have forgotten about it.

Then you stand up after sitting through a film and it is there again, worse than it was.
You have started choosing shoes around it without admitting that is what you are doing. You took the long walk off the weekend plan.
You have been calling it a sore foot. It is a load-bearing structure made of collagen, in a decade when collagen changes, and it is worth more attention than you are giving it.
How To “Unclog” Your Follicles And Grow Thicker Hair
Hormones, genetics, stress, aging…
They’re all blamed for hair loss.
New research shows the “cause” doesn’t matter.
Yet what does is the bottleneck that stops hair from growing: Clogged follicles.
See, when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin, hardened oils, and other gunk…
No new hair can grow.
Yet once you clear this “Follicle Clog”…
Your hair’s thickness, health, and volume surges back to life.
In fact, a “Follicle Clog” clearing technique we developed is linked to a 32% reduction in hair loss.
Terri, who tried it, said: “There’s way less hair in the drain. It’s actually staying on my head.”
If you’ve struggled with thinning hair for years… and would love to see baby hairs growing again…
I show you how to “unclog” your hair follicles in this short video:
To hair that shines with beauty, grace, and vitality.
A Fascia Is A Rope Made Of Collagen
The plantar fascia is a thick band running from your heel bone to the base of your toes. It holds the arch of your foot and transmits force every time you push off.
It is collagen, like tendon and like skin, and collagen composition and turnover change through this decade.
Underneath your heel there is also a fat pad, a specialized shock absorber that thins with age. Less padding over the bone, more load through the attachment point.
The hormonal research on this specific problem is thin, and I will not overstate it. What is not thin is the evidence about what foot pain does to the rest of your life.
Chew On This “Vampire Plant” To See Wrinkles & Dark Spots Vanish
A researcher recently tested a bizarre “Vampire Plant” on a 64-year-old grandmother.
She simply chewed on it for three days straight.
Her deep, stubborn forehead wrinkles completely flattened out. Even the dark, sun-damaged age spots on her cheeks faded. She literally looked like she had stolen the youth right out of someone else.
It turns out chewing this plant releases a rare compound that forces old skin layers to rapidly shed, boosting collagen production almost overnight.

Twenty Five Percent
The Framingham Foot Study assessed 1,544 community-dwelling older adults, 889 of them women, and published in the Journal of Gerontology in 2013.
Twenty five percent of the women reported foot pain on most days, against 19 percent of the men.
And foot pain was associated with measured mobility limitation. In women, an adjusted odds ratio of 1.59, after accounting for age, obesity, smoking and depressive symptoms.
Why This Is Not A Small Complaint
Mobility is the variable that quietly determines how the next thirty years go. How far you walk, how often you leave the house, how much muscle and bone you keep, who you still see.
Foot pain is one of the earliest things that starts shrinking that radius, and it does it by negotiation rather than announcement. One long walk declined. One set of stairs avoided.
You are at the beginning of that conversation, which is the best possible place to be having it.
Before Your Feet Touch The Floor
Do this tomorrow, before you stand up. Reach down, take your toes, and pull them back towards your shin until you feel the sole stretch. Hold thirty seconds. Three times.
Then the same for your calf, standing, back leg straight, thirty seconds each side.
Those first steps hurt because the tissue has shortened overnight and you are tearing it awake. Lengthen it first.
Rest settles the pain and does not build the tissue. What rebuilds it is slow, heavy loading.
Stand with the ball of your foot on a rolled towel at the edge of a step, toes raised. Rise up slowly over three seconds, lower over three seconds. Three sets, every other day, adding weight in a backpack as it gets easier.
Expect three to six months. Wear a cushioned, supportive shoe during a flare rather than flat soles all day.
And if there is numbness, pain at night, or swelling, that is a different problem and needs looking at rather than loading.
This was never a small complaint. It is the first argument about how far you get to go.
